Poggio al Tesoro is located in the incredible territory of Bolgheri, the elected place of the ancient Etruscan civilisation, one of the most interesting and suggestive areas of Tuscany, Italy. What makes it famous are the medieval centre of Castagneto Carducci, where the monumental Castello della Gherardesca stands out, and, to the west, the beaches of Marina di Castagneto.
In 2001, Marilisa Allegrini, who fell in love with the Bolgheri territory, embarked on a policy of expansion and here established Poggio Al Tesoro.
Today it is an APANI® residence and one of the largest in the Bolgheri area, with land located partly at the foot of the hills and partly close to the Tyrrhenian coast.
Poggio Al Tesoro extends over 100 hectares, 64 of which are planted with vines, divided into four different estates that contain, as in a casket, unique qualities that combine in an exceptional terroir.
