From the rainforest to the ice of the summit, the APANI expedition crossed five climates.
Nature Sense was on the mountain, in every climate crossed.
The expedition
There is only one place on Earth where you can walk from the Equator to the Arctic.
Kilimanjaro. One of the Seven Summits. The highest free-standing mountain in the world. The only great peak you climb on foot — with nothing but your stride, your breath, and what you wear.
In July 2026, the APANI expedition — twelve people, men and women, ages twelve to fifty-plus — crossed its five climates.
Equatorial zone. Rainforest. Moorland. Alpine desert. Ice on the Equator. Forty kilometres. Five thousand, eight hundred and ninety-five metres.
Nature Sense — our Saxon Merino collection — was there for that. One layer, from the first step to the summit.
The mountain changed five times. Against the skin, nothing changed: thirty-seven degrees, from the rainforest to the ice.
